20-year-old Malibu driver hit a 45-year-old pedestrian to death in Tashkent
The accident occurred in the capital’s Mirzo-Ulugbek district, a criminal case has been opened, and an investigation is underway.

A fatal accident occurred in the Mirzo-Ulugbek district, the press service of the Tashkent city traffic police department reported.
It is reported that on May 11, at about 4:00 am, a 20-year-old man driving a Malibu hit a 45-year-old pedestrian in front of the Oktepa Lavash building on Feruza Street, Mirzo-Ulugbek district. As a result of the accident, the pedestrian died on the spot.
In connection with the situation, the investigative department of the Tashkent city DIA has opened a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 266 of the Criminal Code (Violation of traffic safety rules or the use of vehicles, resulting in the death of a person), an investigation is underway.
