Cadastral officer beaten in Tashkent region
An employee who went to investigate the appeal was assaulted. A criminal case has been opened.
After a video of a man and his son beating up a cadastral officer on duty in Bostanlyk district of Tashkent region was circulated on social networks, the Prosecutor General’s Office announced that the situation was under control.
“In the Bostanlyk district, a criminal case was initiated against the persons who resisted the cadastral officer on duty under Article 219 of the Criminal Code (resisting the representative of the authorities or the person performing his civic duty). Investigative actions are being carried out,” the PGO press secretary reported.
The press secretary of the Cadastre Agency told the “Millar” program that the employee went to the scene to investigate the appeal. The petitioner complained that his neighbor had arbitrarily built a wall and blocked the internal road.
