Five people die in Surkhandarya region after Tracker car collides with a truck
According to preliminary data, the Tracker, driven by a 59-year-old driver, crashed into a truck parked on the roadside at high speed. As a result of the accident, two people died on the spot, three more died in the hospital.
An accident, which resulted in the death of several people, occurred in the Sherabad district, Surkhandarya region, a Kun.uz source reports.
According to preliminary information, the accident occurred on May 12 at about 09:50 in the Uzunsoy mahalla of Sherabad district. Presumably, the Tracker driver, citizen Sh.D. (born in 1965), lost control. As a result, a car crashed into a truck parked on the roadside.
A video circulated on social media said the accident was caused by bumps in the road.
As a result of the accident, driver Sh.D. and his wife M.Sh. died on the spot. Three female passengers aged 70, 44 and 50 who were in the car were seriously injured and died in hospital.
There is no official information about the accident yet.
Previously, Kun.uz reported that a road accident occurred in the Boysun district of Surkhandarya region, as a result of which 6 people died.
