Saida Mirziyoyeva and Komil Allamjonov meet with US Under Secretary of State
During the meeting with Uzra Zeya, issues of protecting women’s rights, the mass media and freedom of speech were discussed.

On May 22, Assistant to the President of Uzbekistan Saida Mirziyoyeva and Head of the PA Information Policy Department Komil Allamjonov met with the US delegation led by US Under Secretary of State Uzra Zeya.
“The American side assured of its readiness to provide full, comprehensive support for ongoing reforms in the field of protecting women’s rights, freedom of the media and speech, as well as strengthening the capacity of civil society and NGOs,” Saida Mirziyoyeva wrote.
It should be recalled that a week ago Saida Mirziyoyeva and Komil Allamjonov met with the US Ambassador to Uzbekistan.
