Traffic accident claims life of a university student in Samarkand

The Regional Council of the Youth Union reported the passing of Davron Elmurodov, who served as the coordinator for the council's teacher education department.

The traffic police reported that around 23:30 on University Boulevard, the driver of a Nexia-2 car hit the young man crossing the street. He died at the hospital despite the medical care provided.

Some social media users say the man might have fallen prey to races allegedly organized by drivers.
