Samarkand resident arrested in $50,000 visa fraud
The man promised a local resident to arrange a visa and secure a good job in the U.S.
During an operational event, law enforcement officers detained citizen I.S. in Samarkand, who promised a local resident to arrange a visa and secure a good job in the USA for $50,000.
He was caught red-handed while receiving $45,600 from an acquaintance.
A criminal case has been initiated against I.S., and an investigation is underway.
