The blogger, who had no previous convictions, was found guilty under Paragraphs “a” and “d” of Article 139-3 (libel combined with an accusation of committing a serious or especially serious crime, as well as committed for mercenary or other base motives), Paragraph “b” of Article 165-2 (extortion committed on a large scale) and Paragraphs “b” and “d” of Article 167-2 (theft by embezzlement of someone else’s property, committed repeatedly and by abuse of official position) of the Criminal Code.

At the same time, the court found Murod Makhsudov not guilty under Parts 1 and 2 of Article 168 of the Criminal Code (fraud and fraud on a significant scale or by prior conspiracy by a group of persons) and rehabilitated him under this article.
