Three people drowned in Fergana region

Three young people, including two minors, drowned in an artificial reservoir intended for irrigation of agricultural land in the Altiarik district (Fergana region) on June 5.

According to the PGO press secretary, Khayot Shamsutdinov, the prosecutor’s office has begun an investigation.

“In order to avoid such accidents, we ask you to strictly follow the rule not to swim in bodies of water where swimming is prohibited, which have strong currents, great depths, and which are unfamiliar to you,” the message says.
