Leading educational institutions of Uzbekistan and Belgium expand academic ties

Ambassador of Uzbekistan Gayrat Fozilov met with Professor Rik Van de Walle, Rector of Ghent University, which is one of the most leading, high-quality and oldest universities in Belgium.

At the meeting, the prospects for establishing academic cooperation between higher educational institutions of our country and Ghent University in various fields were discussed in detail.

During the conversation, Rika Van de Walle and his team were invited to take part in the upcoming World Youth Festival and International Educational Forum in Uzbekistan in June.

The leadership of Ghent University confirmed its readiness to establish educational and scientific cooperation with universities in Uzbekistan.
