Truck falls into a river in Tashkent region, its passenger dies
The incident occurred on a road bridge in the Yukorichirchik district.

On June 9, at about 18:30, a truck fell into the Chirchik River in the Yukorichirchik district, Tashkent region.
According to the regional traffic safety department, a Howo truck, driven by a 23-year-old driver, accidentally fell into the river on a highway bridge.
As a result, the passenger of the car died on the spot. The driver was given first aid.
Videos on social media say the incident allegedly occurred due to a race caused by drivers.
Currently, the Yukorichirchik district DIA has opened a criminal case and an investigation is underway.
