A 47-year-old man living alone in the Chartak district tricked an 11-year-old girl who was playing on the street into his apartment and hid her. A neighbor who saw this reported to the police department on duty. When officers arrived at the scene, they found the kidnapped girl in the man’s home and returned her to her family.
In the Chartak district of Namangan region, an individual who kidnapped a minor girl was detained.
According to the case materials, the kidnapper is citizen A.I. (born in 1977), living alone in the Beshkapa mahalla of Chartak district. Previously, he has been convicted 5 times.
On June 12, 2024 at 7:30 p.m., he tricked an 11-year-old girl who was playing alone on Ziyokor Street into his home and hid her.
A neighbor of A.I. saw that he had brought an unfamiliar minor girl into the house and reported this to the police department. Officers immediately arrived at the scene and found a kidnapped minor girl in the man’s home. The child was handed over to her relatives.
On this fact, a criminal case was initiated under Article 137-2, Paragraph “a” (Abduction of a minor) of the Criminal Code, the suspect A.I. was taken into custody.
