Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover increases by 8.5% in H1
According to the Statistics Agency, Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover reached $31.8 billion during the first half of 2024. This marks an increase of $2.5 billion, or 8.5%, compared to the same period in 2023.
During these six months, Uzbekistan engaged in trade with 186 countries.
The largest contributors to Uzbekistan’s FTT were China (18.5%), Russia (18.1%), Kazakhstan (6%), Turkey (4.5%), and South Korea (3.4%).
In the first half of the year, Uzbekistan’s exports amounted to $13 billion, increasing by 5.5%. Imports, in the meantime, reached $18.8 billion, showing a 10.6% rise.
