Chinese Da Fu launches metal structures plant near Yangiyul, aiming to boost production to 900 tons annually
The plant can produce up to 500 tons of products per year, with plans to increase capacity to 900 tons.
A metal structures plant, established with the participation of Chinese investors, has opened near Yangiyul, according to the press service of the Tashkent regional administration.
The opening ceremony was attended by the governor of the region, Zoyir Mirzaev. The plant was built by the Chinese company Da Fu for approximately $2 million, creating 25 new jobs.
The plant has a capacity of 500 tons of metal structures valued at 15 billion UZS annually. Additionally, there are resources to produce an extra 400 tons of products, including for export.
By the end of the year, it is planned to attract a total of $50.7 million in direct foreign investments and loans, according to the regional administration.
The previous week, the Limaomaoli Metal Company, established by a Chinese national, began the construction of an iron ore mining complex in the Parkent district. The first phase of the project involves investing $50 million to produce 1 million tons of iron ore concentrate annually.
