Antimonopoly Committee annuls Termiz Institute’s 2 billion UZS tender results
The tender with an initial value of 2 billion UZS, held at the Termiz State Pedagogical Institute, violated legal requirements.
On July 11 of this year, the Surkhandarya regional office of the Antimonopoly Committee received a complaint regarding a tender with an initial value of 2 billion UZS held by the Termiz State Pedagogical Institute.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the institute conducted a tender for the purchase of furniture for a new educational building with an initial value of 2,002,382,125 UZS.
In this tender, it was found that the criteria for evaluating the bids submitted by participants (“STEKLOPLASTIK” LLC, “GLOBAL TEX PROM SERVIS” LLC, “MUHAMMADALI SAVDO SANOAT SERVIS” LLC, “FAROVON-FAYZ” PE, “NEATEST” LLC, and “OMAD XAMROX MEZON” LLC) were not developed by the ordering organization (the procurement commission).
As a result of the investigation, due to signs of violation of the requirements of Article 29 of the Law "On Competition," a case was initiated against the Ordering Party (Termiz State Pedagogical Institute). Based on the results of the investigation, the Committee ordered the cancellation of the tender results.
