Karakalpakstan's first gold mine launched with $20 million investment by Ji An Tai International
Ji An Tai International Industries has processed 1 million tons of ore and sold gold to NMMC.

As it was previously reported, Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited Karakalpakstan to review investment plans. In particular, projects totaling $9.5 billion are planned for the republic.
The Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology reported that the joint venture Ji An Tai International has completed the feasibility study for the development of the Urusai mine in the Karauzak district, valued at $20 million.
According to the Unified State Register of Enterprises and Organizations, Ji An Tai International was established in July 2020. The company's authorized capital exceeds 1.08 billion UZS, and it is classified as a small business entity.

At present, the mine has installed equipment, processed 1 million tons of ore, and sold the gold to NMMC.
The Ministry of Geology noted that the Urusai mine is the first gold mine in Karakalpakstan.
Additionally, in collaboration with Triangul Metals Tebinbulak, the Tebinbulak mine is being developed in the Karauzak district with an investment of $1.6 billion. The enterprise has developed a project to produce 3.6 million tons of steel raw materials by processing 58 million tons of ore and producing 5 million tons of iron concentrate.
