Uzbekistan and UAE discuss strengthening educational and migration cooperation
Uzbekistan's Ambassador, Abdulaziz Akkulov, met with the UAE's Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation and Acting Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Abdulrahman Abdulmannan Al Awar.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that cooperation between Uzbekistan and the UAE is rapidly developing based on mutual trust and dialogue established between the leaders of the two countries. Notable progress has been made, particularly in the trade, economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
The discussion focused on enhancing cooperation in the field of migration, protecting the rights of labor migrants, developing direct connections between leading universities and research centers in both countries, and establishing collaboration in the field of engineering.
The Emirati side was invited to participate in the Central Asian Educational Forum, which will be held in Tashkent on October 16-17.
