More people visiting Uzbekistan for treatment purposes 

From January to July of this year, 67.4 thousand foreign citizens arrived in Uzbekistan for treatment, the Statistics Agency reports.

Compared to the same period last year, their number increased by 31.1 thousand people.

The largest number of foreigners arrived in the republic from Tajikistan (51.6 thousand), Kazakhstan (7.7 thousand) and Kyrgyzstan (6.2 thousand). Azerbaijan is in last place on the list, from where only 9 people arrived for treatment.

Earlier, Kun.uz wrote that the flow of foreign tourists to Uzbekistan increased by 15.3%.
