Gov't purchased electricity from population for 4.8 billion UZS since year beginning
In July, 3.75 thousand individuals sold “green” electricity for 1.39 billion UZS.
Since the beginning of the year, the state has purchased electricity generated by solar panels from almost 5 thousand citizens, the press service of the Ministry of Energy reports.
According to the Tax Committee, over seven months, 4,986 individuals sold 4.81 million kWh of “green” electricity to the unified power grid.
With a fixed cost of 1 kW/h at 1,000 UZS, citizens were paid 4.81 billion UZS from the budget.
The Ministry of Energy notes that in July alone, 3.75 thousand individuals sold excess electricity generated for 1.39 billion UZS.
This subsidy is transferred via the Soliq application to the owner's bank card by the 25th day of the month following the reporting month. This money will not be taken into account as taxable income of the recipient.
