Uzbekistan and Albania sign visa-free agreement for diplomatic passport holders
Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov met with Albania’s Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, E.P. Igli Hasani, in New York, where the two ministers signed an agreement establishing a visa-free regime for diplomatic passport holders.

"Together with Albania's Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, E.P. Igli Hasani, we signed an agreement on a visa-free regime for holders of diplomatic passports," wrote Saidov on his Telegram channel.
According to the FM, Uzbekistan is ready to strengthen ties with Albania and the two countries are taking practical steps to further develop bilateral relations.
"During our meeting, we exchanged a number of important proposals aimed at enhancing our relations, especially in the economic sphere," he said.
It should be noted that Uzbekistan and Albania established diplomatic relations on November 23, 1993.
