Over 74 thousand foreign nationals visited Uzbekistan for medical treatment in eight months
Around 74,700 foreign citizens arrived in Uzbekistan for medical treatment between January and August 2024.
According to the latest data from the Statistics Agency, this marks an increase of 34,000 individuals, or 83.6%, compared to the same period last year.
The data indicates that the highest number of medical tourists came from Tajikistan, with 57,380 individuals. Other notable figures include:
• Kazakhstan: 8,542 individuals
• Kyrgyzstan: 6,704 individuals
• Russia: 1,299 individuals
• Turkmenistan: 672 individuals
• Türkiye: 27 individuals
• Afghanistan: 20 individuals
• Other countries: 84 individuals
