Kuwaiti firm eyes joint ventures in Uzbekistan’s chemical industry
Representatives from Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade, alongside officials from "Uzkimyosanoat" and Kuwait's EPSCO company, held an online meeting to discuss potential collaborations.
The virtual meeting, organized with support from Kuwait's embassy, focused on enhancing investment exchanges between the two nations and exploring opportunities for joint ventures.
During the meeting, Uzbekistan presented its trade, economic, and investment potential to the Kuwaiti side. EPSCO's Board Chairman, Alaa Hassan, expressed the company’s interest in partnering with Uzbekistan, particularly in producing ethanol for the medical industry, as well as sanitary and disinfectant products. EPSCO also conveyed its broader interest in collaborating within Uzbekistan's chemical industry.
Following the discussions, the parties agreed to arrange a working visit for an EPSCO delegation to Uzbekistan. The visit aims to further explore the proposed joint projects and solidify partnerships.
