New Kuwaiti ambassador begins diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, has officially received the copies of credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador of Kuwait, Turki Khalid Hamad Al-Mikrad.
During their meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the parties reviewed the current state of bilateral relations and discussed expanding multifaceted cooperation between the two countries.
In a statement shared via his Telegram channel, FM Saidov highlighted that the state visit of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Kuwait in February of last year served as a pivotal moment, elevating diplomatic and economic ties to a new level.

The discussion also covered broader geopolitical collaboration, specifically focusing on strengthening engagement within the framework of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf – as well as other prominent international and regional organizations.
