Uzbekistan establishes Futsal Federation
Uzbekistan has officially launched its Futsal Federation, marking a significant step toward the development of the sport in the country.

At the federation's inaugural ceremony, Bekzod Mamatqulov, a prominent entrepreneur and chairman of the supervisory board of BMB Holding, was elected as the president of the Uzbekistan Futsal Federation.
The President of the Uzbekistan Football Association (UFA), Abdusalom Azizov, addressed the event, reflecting on the national futsal team’s lackluster performance in recent tournaments. He emphasized the importance of enhancing the sport's structure and competitiveness in the years to come.
Starting its operations in 2025, the federation has outlined its leadership structure as follows:
• President: Bekzod Mamatqulov
• Vice President: Aziz Akbarjonov
• Secretary General: Ma'rufjon Abdullaev
The newly formed Uzbekistan Futsal Federation is expected to lead efforts to advance futsal across the nation, nurturing talent and building a strong foundation for future successes in international competitions.
