Uzbekistan to fast-track Cambridge curriculum in schools nationwide
Ravshan Usmanov, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the UK, held a meeting with Steve King, Head of Europe, Central Asia, and the Americas at Cambridge University Press and Assessment's Partnership for Education. King expressed the organization’s readiness to strengthen educational cooperation between Uzbekistan and the UK.

Cambridge University Press and Assessment is one of the world's largest organizations specializing in publishing and creating educational systems. Established in 1534, it develops scientific and educational publications, curricula, examinations, and assessment systems globally. Its activities focus on creating advanced scientific and methodological approaches in education and teaching.
The organization consists of two components: Cambridge University Press and Cambridge Assessment.
Cambridge University Press produces scientific publications, books, online resources, and educational materials. Its publications span various fields, including language learning, science, history, literature, and more.
Cambridge Assessment develops educational assessment systems, which contribute to ensuring high-quality education and assisting in evaluating students.
During the meeting, Steve King highly praised the wide-ranging reforms being carried out in the field of education in Uzbekistan and the conditions created for youth to receive quality education.
He noted that Cambridge’s educational assessment systems are currently implemented in specialized schools across all regions of the country.
The representative expressed Cambridge University Press and Assessment's readiness to further develop and expand cooperation between Uzbekistan and the United Kingdom in the field of education.
Specifically, it was agreed to accelerate practical collaborations, including implementing the Cambridge curriculum in schools across the republic, adopting international standards to improve the quality of teaching and education, expanding educational programs, and organizing professional development projects for specialists both in Uzbekistan and the UK.
