Housing rental prices in Tashkent continue to decline

Experts from the Institute for Macroeconomic and Regional Studies analyzed rental prices for housing in Tashkent in January 2024, revealing a 0.1% decrease in the average price for moderately renovated apartments and a 0.3% drop for fully renovated apartments compared to December.

In January 2024, the average rental prices for moderately renovated one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments decreased by 0.3% and 0.4%, respectively, compared to December. Meanwhile, rental prices for three-bedroom and four-bedroom apartments rose by 0.1% and 0.3%, respectively.

Relatively affordable rental prices for moderately renovated apartments:

• Sergeli district: (1-bedroom – $297, 2-bedroom – $355, 3-bedroom – $415, 4-bedroom – $419)

• Almazar district: (1-bedroom – $293, 2-bedroom – $352, 3-bedroom – $419, 4-bedroom – $493)

Relatively expensive rental prices:

• Mirabad district: (1-bedroom – $344, 2-bedroom – $512, 3-bedroom – $643, 4-bedroom – $705)

• Yakkasaray district: (1-bedroom – $383, 2-bedroom – $487, 3-bedroom – $677, 4-bedroom – $722)

Rental prices for fully renovated apartments: During the same period, rental prices for fully renovated one-bedroom and three-bedroom apartments decreased by 0.5%, while two-bedroom apartments saw a 0.7% decrease. However, rental prices for four-bedroom apartments increased by 0.5%.

Relatively affordable rental prices for fully renovated apartments:

• Sergeli district: (1-bedroom – $321, 2-bedroom – $417, 3-bedroom – $513, 4-bedroom – $641)

• Uchtepa district: (1-bedroom – $386, 2-bedroom – $450, 3-bedroom – $534, 4-bedroom – $624)

Relatively expensive rental prices:

• Mirabad district: (1-bedroom – $485, 2-bedroom – $731, 3-bedroom – $1,027, 4-bedroom – $1,328)

• Shaykhontohur district: (1-bedroom – $521, 2-bedroom – $732, 3-bedroom – $1,093, 4-bedroom – $1,381)
