Internationally wanted criminal extradited to Uzbekistan
A citizen of Uzbekistan wanted internationally for theft and large-scale extortion has been extradited from Egypt to Uzbekistan.
Officers from Uzbekistan's National Central Bureau of Interpol discovered that the individual was residing in Egypt.
T.Kh.M. had been living undercover in Egypt for some time with student status. In January of this year, he was apprehended during a joint operation between Interpol’s Cairo office and Egyptian law enforcement agencies.
Earlier, it was reported that Russia had extradited an Uzbek woman, suspected of being involved in a $7 million fraud case, to Kazakhstan. Additionally, a citizen of Uzbekistan who had been on the run for over a year was arrested in Kazakhstan.
Furthermore, an Uzbek citizen who had been wanted internationally for over 10 years was also apprehended in Kazakhstan.
