Kazakhstan’s Kaspi fintech company has introduced a service enabling transfers to Uzcard and Humo payment system cards in Uzbekistan, according to reports from Kazakh media.

While users could previously send money from Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan only via Visa or Mastercard, the new feature in the Kaspi.kz super app now allows direct transfers to Uzcard and Humo cards. To complete a transfer, users only need to enter the recipient's card number, with the recipient’s name automatically displayed for verification.

Kaspi.kz founder and CEO Mikhail Lomtadze expressed satisfaction that the company is contributing to the development of friendship and cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.

"The people of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan have long-standing ties of friendship, kinship, business, and cultural exchange. Many travel for business or personal visits, which often creates a need for payments and money transfers," he said.
