Andijan aims for $1.5 billion export boost and 5.5% economic growth in 2025
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed the presentation of Andijan region’s key objectives for 2025, according to the presidential press service.

In particular, the region plans to implement 166 new investment projects worth a total of $5.7 billion, which are expected to create 31,000 new jobs. The projects aim to produce 31 new types of products and open up export opportunities worth $1.5 billion. To ensure a stable supply of energy for enterprises, an additional 65 megawatts of capacity will be installed. By the end of the year, the region aims to secure employment for 305,000 residents.
The presentation placed special emphasis on diversifying the economy, developing industry, introducing new technologies, and expanding production capacities. Economic growth in the region is expected to reach 5.5 percent in 2025.
The president instructed responsible officials to ensure the timely implementation of the projects, create well-paying jobs, and provide vocational training for the unemployed.
