Mild tremors felt in Uzbekistan after 5.5 magnitude earthquake shakes Afghanistan
An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 occurred in Afghanistan, according to the Seismological Monitoring Center under the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan.
The seismic activity also affected the territory of Uzbekistan. In the Surkhandarya region, tremors were felt with a strength of 2-3 points, while in the Fergana, Syrdarya, Jizzakh, and Andijan regions, they were felt at up to 2 points.
Underground tremors were also recorded in the Samarkand, Namangan, and Kashkadarya regions.
