President Mirziyoyev arrives in Ljubljana

A ceremonial welcome for the President of Uzbekistan took place at Congress Square in the Slovenian capital.

According to the press service of the President of Uzbekistan, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev was formally received by Slovenian President Nataša Pirc Musar. A guard of honor was assembled in tribute to the distinguished guest, and a military orchestra performed the national anthems of both Uzbekistan and Slovenia.

The two leaders reviewed the guard of honor and greeted members of the official delegations.

Following the official ceremony, a wreath-laying ceremony was held in Zvezda Park at the Memorial to the Victims of All Wars — a gesture of respect for the fallen and a reaffirmation of commitment to the ideals of peace and humanism.
