The tragic news was confirmed by the mosque’s official Telegram channel, which stated that Imam Muhammadiev passed away in the early hours of May 26 after a period of illness.

The Muslim Board of Uzbekistan confirmed the news of Rabbimqul Muhammadiev’s passing in Medina to Kun.uz, though the exact cause of death has not been disclosed.

Condolences have also been expressed by Kokaldosh Islamic College and the Islom.uz portal, both mourning the loss of Rabbimqul domla Muhammadiev.

Rabbimqul Muhammadiev had served as the imam-khatib of Rakat Mosque since 2019. Prior to that, he held the same position at Imam Termiziy Mosque in the Olmazor district.
