Oman hands over two Uzbek nationals wanted for serious crimes
Under the supervision of officers from Uzbekistan’s National Central Bureau of Interpol, two Uzbek citizens who were on the international wanted list were extradited from Muscat to Tashkent.

Both women were wanted on charges of fraud and human trafficking.
To carry out the extradition of those sought for fraud-related offenses, an observation team was dispatched to Muscat. During meetings with representatives of Interpol’s National Central Bureau in Muscat, Uzbek authorities learned that another suspect — also on Uzbekistan’s international wanted list for involvement in a human trafficking case — had been detained.
As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to implement a simplified extradition procedure.
