International search for "Ravshan Zolotoy" withdrawn after investigators find no evidence of guilt
The Ministry of Internal Affairs has canceled the international search for businessman Ravshan Mukhitdinov, widely known as "Ravshan Zolotoy," after investigators concluded that there was insufficient evidence to establish his guilt.
The announcement was made by Dilmurod Mirsodiqov, deputy head of the Tashkent City Main Department of Internal Affairs, during a press conference at the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to Mirsodiqov, a criminal case was opened against Mukhitdinov in 2021, after which he was placed on an international wanted list.
He said the part of the criminal case concerning the businessman was later closed because the statute of limitations for criminal prosecution had expired. However, after additional complaints were submitted, investigative measures and the international search were resumed.
Following the completion of all investigative actions, law enforcement authorities found no evidence confirming Mukhitdinov's guilt. As a result, the international search warrant was canceled, Mirsodiqov said.
In April, the 37-year-old businessman's name appeared on Interpol's Red Notice list. At the time, he was wanted on allegations including intentional destruction or damage to property, organizing, leading, or participating in an armed criminal group, and hooliganism.
