Within the national land fund, 11 million hectares are designated as forest land. Nature conservation lands also represent a significant portion, with 4.2 million hectares set aside for environmental protection.
Other categories include:

Digital mapping and land registration
According to the agency, 95% of all land in Uzbekistan – 42.5 million hectares – has been entered into the electronic mapping system “UZKAD”.
“Based on this, cadastral summary files have been compiled and registered with the state for 42.1 million hectares of land, covering 1.9 million users,” the report said.
Meanwhile, 200,000 hectares of land lacking full legal documentation are currently being used by 366,500 entities, which have been recorded as land users.
The Cadastral Agency also identified:
- 181,700 previously unregistered properties
- 2,300 additional structures
As a result, UZS 155.8 billion in taxes have been calculated and added to the state budget.
