Uzbekistan’s population reaches 38 million

The National Statistics Committee reported that the number of permanent residents in Uzbekistan has reached 38 million.

According to the data, as of 9:35 a.m. on August 28, 2025, Uzbekistan’s permanent population stood at 38,000,000 people.

Of this total:

- men – 19,136,800

- women – 18,863,200

The number of men in the permanent population exceeds that of women by 273,600.
