The meeting focused on further expanding the strategic partnership and multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and the United States.
It was noted with satisfaction that productive contacts are continuing at various levels. Effective cooperation has been established in security, particularly in combating terrorism, extremism, and illegal migration.
The United States has traditionally been one of Uzbekistan’s key economic partners. In 2024, bilateral trade increased by 15 percent, while the portfolio of joint projects exceeded $11 billion.
At the Tashkent Investment Forum held in June this year, more than 100 leading US companies took part.
The sides underlined the significant potential for advancing cooperative projects in priority areas such as mineral resources, aviation, electrical engineering, agriculture, digital technologies, finance, innovation, and education.
The importance of strengthening regional cooperation within the C5+1 format was also emphasized.
The two sides reviewed the schedule of upcoming dialogues and joint events.
