Palestinian Ambassador completes diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan
Palestinian Ambassador Jawad Mohammad Awad is completing his diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan after serving for three and a half years.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, received the ambassador on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission in the country.
During the meeting, Minister Saidov expressed gratitude to Ambassador Awad for his efforts to strengthen Uzbek–Palestinian relations and deepen the friendship between the two nations.
“Uzbekistan firmly supports the implementation of the ‘two states for two peoples’ principle in accordance with UN resolutions,” Bakhtiyor Saidov said at the meeting.
Jawad Mohammed Awad has served as Palestine’s ambassador to Uzbekistan since April 2022.
