Government to subsidize after-school activities for students from low-income families
Up to 80 percent of the expenses for extracurricular activities of students from low-income families attending public schools will be covered by the state budget.

For students aged 7–11:
– Additional after-school programs (extended day groups) will be organized;
– Extracurricular activities will be available only at public educational institutions;
– The monthly fee will be up to one base calculation unit (BCU).
For students aged 12–18:
– Clubs will be established in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, geography, history, civics and law, native language and literature, as well as Uzbek and Russian languages and literature;
– The monthly fee will be up to two BCVs.
For students aged 15–18:
– Clubs in foreign languages (English, German, and French) will be offered, with a monthly fee of up to two BCUs;
– Clubs in information technology and vocational–technical fields will also be available, with a monthly fee of up to four BCUs.
Contracts between the student, their parents (or legal representative), and the organization providing the extracurricular services will be concluded through the Unified Portal of Interactive Public Services.
The duration of each club will not exceed nine months. Each student may attend no more than two clubs at the same time.
Information about payments and attendance will be automatically recorded on the electronic platform kelajak.uzedu.uz.
As a reminder, from 1 August 2025, one base calculation unit (BCU) in Uzbekistan is set at UZS 412,000.
