Uzbekistan’s GDP grows by 7.6 percent in nine months
According to preliminary data from the National Statistics Committee, Uzbekistan’s gross domestic product (GDP) amounted to UZS 1,303,702.1 trillion at current prices in January–September 2025, marking a 7.6 percent increase compared to the same period in 2024.
The industrial sector grew by 6.8 percent, contributing 1.7 percentage points to overall GDP growth.
Agriculture, forestry, and fisheries expanded by 3.6 percent, adding 0.6 percentage points to GDP growth.
The volume of construction work rose by 14.2 percent, with the construction sector’s contribution to GDP growth amounting to 1.0 percentage point.
The services sector grew by 8.7 percent. Within this category, trade, accommodation, and food services increased by 10.6 percent; transport, storage, information, and communications rose by 14.6 percent; and other service activities grew by 6.4 percent. The services sector contributed 4.0 percentage points to GDP growth.
Net taxes on products increased by 6.9 percent, adding 0.3 percentage points to GDP growth.
