Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement recovers over UZS 500 billion for property owners in illegal demolition cases across Uzbekistan
According to the Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement (BCE), a total of UZS 538 billion in compensation has been recovered in favor of property owners for illegally demolished residential, industrial, and other buildings.

As part of enforcement actions carried out by the Tashkent City Department of the Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement and its territorial branches, the interests of owners were satisfied in 63 enforcement proceedings. Payments were made on the basis of legally binding documents and aimed at compensating material damage caused by demolitions.
Since the beginning of this year, the territorial departments of the bureau have received more than 130,000 enforcement documents with total claims amounting to UZS 2.8 trillion. As a result of the enforcement measures, more than 75,000 proceedings were completed, and over UZS 538 billion was recovered in total.
In addition, recoveries in favor of citizens amounted to UZS 247.7 billion, including more than UZS 6.4 billion in unpaid wages and UZS 241.3 billion in compensation for damages.
