According to the Health Ministry’s spokesperson, the mother, Dilfuza Bahriddinova, and her husband, Jasur Makaev, are residents of Kitob district. The couple was already raising five daughters before welcoming the quadruplets.
The babies were delivered prematurely via cesarean section at the Kashkadarya branch of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Obstetrics and Gynecology. The newborns weighed 1,400 g, 1,450 g, 1,600 g, and 1,400 g, respectively.
Currently, the quadruplets are being cared for in accordance with international medical standards, the ministry said.
