Services sector receives largest share of tax incentives in Uzbekistan
The Tax Committee has released data on how much tax was paid by companies in the trade, services and catering sectors over nine months, as well as the value of tax benefits granted to them.
According to the Tax Committee, the total amount of taxes paid in these sectors in January–September 2025 exceeded UZS 56 trillion. Of this, catering businesses paid UZS 1.2 trillion, service providers paid UZS 30 trillion and entrepreneurs in the trade sector paid almost UZS 25.5 trillion.
Total tax benefits granted to these sectors amounted to UZS 30 trillion, with the largest share – UZS 25.6 trillion – allocated to the services sector.
A major share of taxes in the three sectors was paid by the TOP-20 companies: 8.1 percent in trade, 17.8 percent in services and 19.5 percent in catering. The taxes they paid most included VAT, profit tax and excise tax.
It was previously reported that more than UZS 6.3 trillion in taxes was paid in the construction sector over nine months, while the value of tax benefits granted to the sector exceeded UZS 328.5 trillion.
Meanwhile, Uzbekistan has published the list of agricultural products most in demand among exporters over the past ten months.
