Finland’s ambassador completes diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan
Finland’s Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Ilkka Räisänen, has officially concluded his diplomatic mission after three years of service.
During a meeting in Tashkent, Deputy Foreign Minister Muzaffar Madrahimov thanked Ambassador Räisänen for his contributions and support throughout his tenure. The discussion focused on the current state of Uzbek-Finnish relations and explored prospects for further cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
Ambassador Räisänen expressed his gratitude to Uzbek authorities for their comprehensive assistance and collaboration during his mission, highlighting the positive progress in bilateral ties achieved over the past three years.
Ilkka Räisänen has served as Finland’s resident ambassador to Uzbekistan since 2022, operating from the Finnish Embassy in Helsinki.
