Uzbekistan opens its first official trade house in Germany

The showroom featuring Uzbek textiles, electrical equipment, and other products is located in the center of the German capital.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry has opened the first official Uzbekistan trade house in Berlin, the organization’s press service reported.

The opening ceremony of UZ Trade House Germany took place on December 2 with the participation of representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Germany, and German business leaders. The trade house is located in the Adlon Hotel building in the heart of Berlin, opposite the Brandenburg Gate.

The showroom displays textiles, agricultural products, food items, electrical goods, and other products from Uzbekistan. The trade house will serve as the official representative office of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Germany.

As part of the ceremony, a presentation of Uzbekistan’s trade, economic, and tourism potential was also held. According to the Chamber, the opening of the trade house will contribute to promoting products under the Made in Uzbekistan brand in the German market.

In addition, the site will serve as a platform for establishing contacts between the business communities of the two countries. Uzbek companies will gain additional opportunities to attract German investment and technologies.
