Migration Agency to provide temporary housing for vulnerable migrants in Moscow
The Migration Agency’s representative office in Russia has signed agreements with about 15 hostels and daily-rental hotels in Moscow and the Moscow region.
Citizens of Uzbekistan in Russia who find themselves in difficult financial situations, lose access to housing, face pressure, or become victims of forced labor or violence will receive material and social assistance, the Migration Agency reported.
The agency noted that its representative office in Russia has concluded agreements with roughly 15 hostels and short-term accommodation hotels in Moscow and the surrounding region.
Migrants who have lost their housing due to financial hardship will be able to stay in these facilities free of charge for up to 30 days.
The Migration Agency advised those in need to seek assistance from its representative office in Moscow, located at 11/2 First Kazachy Lane, near Polyanka metro station, or by calling +7 925 045 47 44.
