Uzbekistan national team to play friendly against Canada
As part of their preparations for the FIFA World Cup, the Uzbekistan national football team will face Canada in a friendly match in June.
According to the Uzbekistan Football Association, the match is scheduled for June 1 in Edmonton, Canada.
The game will serve as part of Uzbekistan’s build-up to the upcoming global tournament. Canada is one of the host countries for the FIFA World Cup.
Earlier, it was reported that Uzbekistan was drawn into Group C alongside Portugal and Colombia. The third opponent will be determined later through the playoff matches involving New Caledonia, Jamaica, and the DR Congo.
