Uzbekistan sources imports from 180 countries as trade expands
Uzbekistan imported goods and services worth $41.9 billion in January–November 2025, marking a significant increase year on year, according to data released by the National Statistics Committee.
Import volumes rose by 18.7 percent compared with the same period in 2024. Over the 11 months, Uzbekistan imported goods and services from 180 countries.
China remained Uzbekistan’s largest source of imports during the period, with shipments totaling $12.8 billion. It was followed by Russia at $7.8 billion and Kazakhstan at $3.0 billion.
Turkey ranked fourth with $1.7 billion in imports, while the Republic of Korea placed fifth at $1.5 billion. Germany and India each supplied goods worth $1.0 billion to Uzbekistan over the reporting period.
Imports from Turkmenistan amounted to $926.2 million, followed by Belarus at $698.8 million and the United States at $656.1 million, completing the list of the top ten import partners.
