UAE President honors Uzbekistan’s ambassador with top state award
President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has awarded Uzbekistan’s Ambassador Abdulaziz Akkulov the Order of Independence, First Class, on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission in the country.
The high state award was presented by Minister of State Saeed bin Mubarak Al Hajeri during a meeting held at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
At the meeting, the minister addressed issues of bilateral cooperation between the UAE and Uzbekistan, emphasizing his commitment to the further development of relations across all areas.
Al Hajeri wished the ambassador success in his future endeavors and highly praised his role in advancing bilateral relations within the framework of his mandate.
In turn, Abdulaziz Akkulov expressed his deep gratitude to President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and noted the progress and achievements reflecting the firm determination of the UAE leadership to strengthen the country’s position on the global stage.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the diplomat also expressed appreciation to all government institutions for their cooperation, which contributed to the success of the mission to strengthen bilateral ties.
It should be recalled that Ambassador Abdulaziz Akkulov was previously appointed chairman of Uzbekistan’s Tourism Committee.
