Abdukodir Khusanov included in Asia’s symbolic team of 2025
Uzbekistan national team defender Abdukodir Khusanov has been included in Asia’s symbolic team of 2025, according to the latest rankings released by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS).

Khusanov, who represents Uzbekistan at international level and plays for English club Manchester City, was selected among the continent’s standout players for his performances over the year.
The IFFHS symbolic team also features several leading footballers from Japan, South Korea, and Saudi Arabia. Japan is represented by goalkeeper Zion Suzuki, along with Reo Hatate, Kaishu Sano, Ritsu Doan, and Takefusa Kubo.
South Korea’s contingent includes defender Kim Min-jae, midfielder Lee Kang-in, and forward Son Heung-min, while Saudi Arabia is represented by midfielders Mohamed Kanno and Salem Al-Dawsari.
The symbolic team, compiled annually by the IFFHS, recognizes players who have delivered consistent high-level performances at both club and international level.
