Centrum Air to launch direct Tashkent–Lahore flights from April

Uzbekistan’s private carrier Centrum Air has announced the launch of direct flights between Tashkent and Lahore, further expanding air connectivity between Uzbekistan and Pakistan.

Starting in April, the airline will operate twice-weekly services on the Tashkent–Lahore route, linking Uzbekistan’s capital with Pakistan’s second-largest city.

Currently, national carrier Uzbekistan Airways operates four weekly flights between Tashkent and Islamabad, as well as between Tashkent and Lahore. According to available data, more than 30,000 passengers have used these routes to date. In 2025 alone, approximately 19,000 Pakistani citizens visited Uzbekistan for tourism purposes, benefiting from improved air links.

Centrum Air said the launch of the new direct service is expected to contribute to the further development of trade, economic and investment cooperation between the two countries. The airline also highlighted the potential for expanding tourism flows, as well as scientific, academic, educational, cultural and humanitarian exchanges.
